K Technology Corp. | Electronics R&D for Automotive, Medical, Communications
Alongside our business activities, we actively engage in initiatives that contribute to the local community. These efforts include participation in regional events, local beautification activities, collaboration with educational institutions for the development of future generations, and industry-academia-government joint projects.
We regularly conduct cleaning activities within our factory premises and on surrounding roads. We have found a considerable amount of litter, such as empty cans, bottles, and food containers, likely discarded from passing vehicles. These cleanup activities have also helped raise awareness of good manners among our employees. We will continue these activities to contribute to the preservation of the local environment.
As part of our efforts to create a green factory and promote greening activities, we have planted cherry trees and other vegetation on our premises, fostering a cherry blossom avenue for future generations. Additionally, every year, new employees plant zelkova trees to commemorate their joining, and cherry trees are planted on our company anniversary.
To foster and secure human resources for the manufacturing industry, we actively welcome factory visits from schools and organizations.
We collaborate with national and local governments as well as educational and research institutions to conduct research and development of new technologies and create new business opportunities. For example, in collaboration with Tohoku Institute of Technology, we installed a demonstration device (wind reduction turbine) on our premises to help mitigate property and personal damage caused by strong winds.
We aim to contribute to the regional economy by creating local employment opportunities and promoting transactions with local companies.
