Sony Nakaniida, the former business entity of K Tech, used to be the only one site design and manufacture of Sony's automobile electronics products.
In addition to ISO standards, QS-9000 and TS-16949 certification has led to K Tech being received favorably by American automobile manufacturers.
Leveraging of multiple test and evaluation equipment and know-how for long-term soldering reliability assurance have led to design, manufacturing, and after-sales service requests from customers, mainly for CCD camera monitors for car navigation systems, both domestic and abroad.
We have just started ODM (Original Design and Manufacturing) activity to provide safety and reassurance to both customers and users.

Products for the Car-Driven Society

Exhaust gas removal control units for diesel cars have been developed jointly with muffler manufacturers. Future product development will concentrate more on compact, sophisticated units manufactured specifically to supply global markets.

Battery Pack

Requests for the design and production of battery packs have come from American, domestic, and other global computer manufacturers to take advantage of our know-how such as long-life reliable soldering techniques.
Our current research is focusing on improving the safety of conventional battery packs.

Networking Products

Requests for designs, materials procurement, production, and quality assurance have come from major domestic companies, resulting in an increased share together with customers. The high reliability of products and elimination of market failures have been received favorably by telecommunications companies and end users, reinforcing the Made in Japan phrase as a proof of providing products of high quality and reliability.

LCD Products

Requests from major domestic manufacturers for outsourcing their design, quality assurance, and production task of LCD module units for cellular phones, in-car entertainment, and amusement machines have been increasing and we are now supplying LCD products to all over the world. Furthermore, production efforts have expanded to include large LCD television and future growth of this business is expected.
